Back on... after several years

I drive him to his busstop in the morning n was panicking thinking we missed the bus
So he said... no mom. I dont think so... n he pointed to some vehicles going up n down the busy st his bus comes along on
Saying... see that blue van carrying school kids... that comes past first then this yellow bus goes the other way
That’s after which my bus comes by.
N he was right on the daily sequence/schedule of service vehicles
So I asked him... are there any cars that u notice as well, that go past at a regular time everyday?
He says
“Ya! Quite a few”.
I go “Wow! You register quite a bit!”
He goes... nonchalantly... “I don’t have much to do in life.”

I been sitting with him the same spot... every school day morning
last 3+ months
